Founded in 2014 by 3 avid travelers, Ethan Lin, Eric Gnock Fah and Bernie Xiong, Klook inspires and enables more moments of joy for travelers with over half a million curated quality experiences ranging from the biggest attractions to paragliding adventures, iconic museums to rich cultural tours, and other convenient local travel services across 2,700 destinations around the world.

About Sales and Business Development:
Sales and Business Development at Klook are explorers at heart, always seeking the next great adventure for our users. We collaborate with local businesses to discover unique experiences, negotiate exclusive deals, and unlock our merchant partners’ full potential through effective account management.
What you’ll do:
Sales Planning & Execution: Deliver compelling sales pitches to existing and prospective merchants to drive engagement and retention. Leverage Klook’s strengths to develop competitive supply products. Negotiate promotions, marketing exposure, and partner programs to achieve business objectives.
Service Level Improvement: Collaborate with merchants to enhance service quality and optimize key supply metrics, ensuring the needs of both Klook and our customers are met.
Partner Engagement & Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships with partners, clearly communicating Klook’s value and proactively understanding their business needs and priorities.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, supplier operations, customer service, finance) to maximize sales, improve operational efficiency, ensure accurate payment processing, and mitigate risks.
Destination/Vertical Ownership: Manage assigned destinations or verticals by gathering market insights, building relationships with key stakeholders, and representing Klook in the market.
You will also own the following responsibilities as the business evolves:
Sales Acquisition & Pipeline Management: Identify ideal suppliers to join the Klook platform to expand offerings. Leverage Klook's advantages to build out competitive supply products. Develop, manage, and nurture a sustainable acquisition pipeline to achieve successful business outcomes.
Market Research & Analysis: Utilize internal and external resources to conduct comprehensive market research, identify new opportunities, and formulate GTM strategy. Deliver insights on market trends and competitor updates to relevant stakeholders.
What you’ll need:
Language: Native Korean, fluent English
Teamwork: Positive attitude and collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues and partners
Sales Techniques: Experienced across the full sales cycle, including pitching, negotiation, consultative selling, and closing deals.
Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Creative approach to addressing merchant needs and overcoming challenges in the sales process.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Proven track record of building strong relationships with existing and prospective merchants, and communicating proactively, concisely, and persuasively to drive engagement and opportunities.
Communication & Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust-based relationships with merchants, partners, and internal teams. Ability to communicate proactively, concisely, and persuasively.
Business Acumen: Understanding key business principles and metrics, as well as knowledge of the company's products/services and industry landscape, is important for effectively contributing to strategic planning and achieving business goals.
Market Research & Analysis: Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
