About Marketing Planning, Strategy & Operations

We’re looking for a strategic leader who can connect the dots between business goals, marketing performance, and operational excellence. As the Head / Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations at Klook, you’ll lead a team of analysts and operations specialists while steering the planning and strategy backbone of our global B2C marketing engine. This team is not executional by design. Instead, it will be deeply embedded in enabling, orchestrating, and optimizing execution across channels, campaigns, and the broader demand ecosystem.

Your role isn’t just about managing processes, it’s about solving complex problems, driving clarity, and ensuring marketing teams across regions are set up for success. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Analytics to align strategy, optimize investments, and build scalable ways of working.

What you’ll do (Main Accountabilities) 

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and operations coordinators to deliver high-impact planning, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Drive annual and quarterly marketing planning cycles, translating business priorities into actionable roadmaps.

  • Build demand forecasts and investment models that guide budget allocation and performance strategy.

  • Oversee budget allocation, resourcing, and operational efficiency across channels and markets.

  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategy and solve structural challenges.

  • Champion integrated marketing strategies, ensuring synergy across paid, owned, and earned channels.

  • Elevate ways of working through toolkits, frameworks, and onboarding programs

  • Foster a data-driven culture by promoting actionable insights, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

  • Explore marketing AI and new tooling to push productivity and innovation.

What you’ll need (Capabilities) 

  • Proven leader with experience managing high-performing teams (analysts, ops, or strategy roles).
    Strong background in marketing strategy, business operations, or consulting, with 6-8 years of experience.

  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and alignment at senior levels.

  • Deep understanding of marketing funnels, CAC, GMV, and ROI models.

  • Strong analytical toolkit: SQL, BigQuery, Excel, Tableau/Looker (or similar).

  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and build scalable solutions.

  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.

  • Industry experience in e-commerce, tech, or high-growth consumer brands preferred.
