What you’ll do
Destination/Vertical Management: Assume full ownership of a designated destination and vertical, driving growth by gathering actionable insights, cultivating key stakeholder relationships, and acting as Klook's representative in the market.
Strategic Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential merchants, expanding Klook’s market presence. Negotiate agreements to ensure merchant success on the platform, including onboarding standards and supply performance, contributing to exceeding targets.
Partner Acquisition and Pipeline Development: Proactively identify and recruit high-potential suppliers to enhance Klook’s offerings. Leverage Klook’s unique value proposition to develop competitive supply products. Build, manage, and optimize a robust acquisition pipeline to achieve and surpass business objectives.
Market Research and Go-To-Market Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research using internal and external data to identify new opportunities and formulate effective Go-To-Market strategies. Provide stakeholders with insightful analysis of market trends and competitor activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with internal teams across departments (e.g., Tech, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to develop and execute projects, maximize sales performance, ensure alignment, optimize operations, and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
What you’ll need
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a business development or similar role.
Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Proven track record of building strong relationships with existing and prospective merchants, and communicating proactively, concisely, and persuasively to drive engagement and opportunities.
Strong Analytical and Data-Driven Decision-Making Skills: Ability to analyze data to develop insights and measure results effectively
Excellent Problem-Solving and Negotiation Skills: Adept at addressing merchants' needs and challenges with creative solutions and overcoming obstacles in the sales process through effective negotiation.
Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented: Consistently strives for high performance and possesses a strong drive for excellence.
Fluency in both Korean and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
This role is based in Seoul, South Korea.
