What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute Korea’s channel distribution strategy. Drive revenue growth by building additional B2B revenue streams and selling excess Klook inventory

  • Advise customized growth strategies for distribution partners to grow sales utilizing Klook’s in-house distribution solutions & technologies 

  • Work at both the planning level by developing innovative ideas for revenue growth and at the tactical level by leading negotiations, managing existing accounts, analyzing insights and improving strategies

  • Manage and execute all processes and discussions in finalizing such partnerships & distribution integrations (i.e. lead generation, prospecting, establishing first contact, meetings, contract, integration and follow up)

  • Work closely with Business Development & Marketing teams to understand Klook’s strategies, product offerings and distribute any excess inventory

  • Work with product, finance, central partnerships teams to build customized solutions and offerings that meet local requirements

  • Maintain strong knowledge of all in-house technology and handle technical discussions leading to the successful implementation and seamless integration with partners’ systems

  • Collaborate with cross-regional business groups and functional areas to deliver high impact partnership projects

  • Identify best practices and develop playbooks to drive a consistent best-in-class experience across all channels

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years’ experience in business development, B2B sales, account management, and/or strategic partnerships

  • Proven track record in B2B sales; Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale marketing partnerships or B2B sales programs

  • Travel industry experience is a plus - GDS, B2B supplier, marketing partnerships or operator

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the travel landscape in Korea

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus

  • Strategic thinker with a long-term approach to deal-making and partnership building

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - able to use data to develop and measure results

  • Consistently strives for strong performance; Professional and has a thirst for excellence

  • A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required

  • Team Player with the ability to work across global teams in a fast paced environment and constantly evolving environment

  • This role will be based in Korea
