Role Overview 

Klook provides a seamless way for travelers to explore the popular attractions, tours, local transportation, food and beverage, and unique experiences around the world on Klook’s website and app. 

To support our growth into the new category of stays we are looking for an analytically savvy, entrepreneurial yet process driven individual to build our pricing capability for the stays business. 

This role will partner closely with product, operations and business development teams to design scalable processes to ensure we are able to offer the most optimized and competitive price to our customers by owning price modeling, updates, and price reporting of our growing organization.

What you'll do:

• Competition monitoring and benchmarking:

  • To identify the right data set for us to take actions, and work with external providers to capture competitiveness 

  • Define variables, modifications, coverage requirements for generating price comparisons

  • Work with internal / external stakeholders for managing cost of data gathering and also maintaining a healthy record of pricing data

• Taking pricing decisions and managing workflow with the internal teams 

  • Analyse the competitor pricing data and identify requisite actions to offer the best prices on Klook

  • Identify appropriate enhancements to the price display, combination or bundling to improve the conversion rate or driver revenue growth

  • Work with the product team in defining the road map for future development and improving our product capabilities

• Planning and reporting 

  • Help articulate the pricing strategy and approach for the senior and cross functional stakeholders

  • Defining key metrics, targets and reporting structure for the senior management, regional / BU teams

  • Identify areas for improvements and gaps. Work with BU leadership to roll out appropriate solutions for the same

What you’ll need:

• Entrepreneurial DNA: Ability to own, lead and setup work flows and functions from scratch 

• Program / Process management Abilities: be comfortable to initiate and manage complex programs/projects. 

• Comfortable with ambiguity: A lot of the work we do is new, be comfortable with not knowing all answers

• Analytically Solid: uses data to find tangible value for the organisation. Strong with SQL, Python and Excel

• Min 5 years experience in the revenue or pricing management role in travel industry

• Prior OTA experience is preferred

• A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that ’s not afraid to work independently when required
