Associate/ Senior Associate, Content & Localization

What you will do:

• Translate, edit and proofread content for website and app from English to Chinese, including system text (user interface elements), product content (hotels, tours, transportation, food & beverage, etc.), and marketing materials (eDM, banner ads, blog etc.) 

• Plan and create Blog content update based on local requirements

• Plan and create engaging Blog content, aiming at connecting with the existing and potential targeted audience for traffic generation 

• Liaise with in-house and freelance resources to ensure the production of high quality and timely content

• Proofread and perform quality checks to ensure linguistic accuracy of content

• Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure all Cantonese copy align with the brand guideline and appropriate for the Cantonese-speaking market

• Support in conversion rate and customer’s journey improvement

• Work with a team of passionate localization specialists looking to make an impact on the tourism & travel industry

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in translation or linguistics

• Native in Chinese, Business level in reading and writing in English is required

• Excellent writing skills in Chinese

• Experience working with CAT tools is a plus

• Knowledge in SEO & keyword tool is plus

• Detail minded and ability to work on tight deadlines

• Flexibility to strike a balance between quality and speed

• Interest in the travel industry

• Ability to communicate effectively with teams across different offices and cultural backgrounds
