Assistant Manager, Partnerships & Affiliate
A Partnerships & Affiliate Assistant Manager working across brand partnerships, affiliates, DMO and fusion (co-brand) marketing in our fast-moving and ever-changing environment. The Partnerships & Affiliate Assistant Manager will identify and close partnership opportunities and develop business relationships with brands, creators, content owners and rights owners.
What you’ll do
Share the ownership for the partnership strategy, deliver in support the achievement of the pre-agreed OKR’s;
Identify, reach out, evaluate and secure successful brand partnerships opportunities from different verticals that will help us to grow brand awareness and acquire new users;
Account manage partners and affiliates, inc. networks, to maintain relationships and ensure channel profitability;
Work on the always-on optimisation of the integrative partnership, including collaboration with the tech team;
Work on the tactical campaigns within affiliate channel: develop the full year support plan, agree on KPI and deliver against them;
Manage the entire co-brand partnership lifecycle, ensuring a healthy pipeline of prospective and in play partners at all times. Maintain sales approach/material to ensure Klook always seems the most cutting edge and desirable partner to work with;
Consistently find points of difference from our existing competitors.
Work with the wider marketing team to execute co-brand partnership/marketing in support of campaigns to leverage maximum impacts
Develop creative ways to boost brand exposure, traffic, conversions and user acquisition from various partnerships or co-branded/fusion marketing campaigns
Be accountable for results and responsible for comprehensive reporting of performances to Marketing Manager (Partnerships) together with recommendations for next steps for the market within or across teams
Think creatively: identify with Klook’s target market and how to reach them in the most engaging but also cost-efficient way by using partner IP in barter agreements
Be brave: Iterate frequently and test quickly, get new ideas out of the door fast to see what works
Be a confident contributor to strategy and other discussions, challenging at all levels to ensure the best outcomes;
Collaborate with co-workers within team and abroad to ensure the approach aligns with other progressing campaigns and the overarching global branding strategy.
What you’ll need
Strong sales ability, capable of communicating visions that obtain partnerships
Experience in growing new markets and establishing early revenue lines
Experience of owning activity in a fast-paced changeable environment
An excellent people person, natural salesperson with whom people are drawn to work with
In-depth knowledge of the UK market, population, culture and trends as well as broad awareness of other European and American cultures.
Significant experience in a similar partnership role
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with co-workers and externals
Self-starter: High energy, get things done attitude wearing multiple talent hats if needed
Willingness to test, test, test and be very hands-on
Flexibility and adaptability - things are fresh, so you can expect some teething time in the beginning
Ownership: you are used to working independently and being responsible for all steps of the project.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with affiliates directly as well as networks
Degree in Business / Commerce with a focus on Marketing (advantageous)
Good partner contact list
Experience in mobile app traffic acquisition
Experience in working with API integrations
